What’s in a name?

Chasing Heartbeats Photography is all about following your heart and going where it wants you to go. Of course, on the way, you want to capture all of the memories you create, and what better way to do that than through photography?

Here, you’ll find anything and everything about photography. We’re passionate shutterbugs ourselves and we hope to turn you into one as well.

Shabbir has always been passionate about photography. It’s a hobby that he’s enjoyed for the last 20 years. He started out with film cameras, but eventually transitioned to digital SLRs. His current camera of choice is the Canon EOS M50 mirrorless camera. He loves its portability and how easy it is to use.

Shabbir loves capturing memories and moments in photos. Whether it’s a family gathering or a beautiful sunset, he wants to be able to capture it all! He’s always looking for new ways to improve his photography skills and learn new techniques.

Ashley is the creative engine of Chasing Heartbeats. She has an eye for detail and is an expert at telling visual stories.

While her family is from Portugal, Ashley was born and brought up in the United States where she grew up close to the majestic Rocky Mountains.

The Rockies were her main source of inspiration to become a visual storyteller.

Fazia is the photo editing guru at Chasing Heartbeats. She’s an expert at touching up photos to make them come to life, and also enjoys restoring old photographs.

Fazia was born in Pakistan, but moved to the United Kingdom as a child and has lived in Birmingham since.

One of our favorite things to photograph is people. We love capturing candid moments and real emotions. We believe that everyone has a story to tell, and we want to help them tell it through photos.
