sisterMAG Issue 7
The new issue of sisterMAG launched today and I am so honored to have photographed the cover at the Berlin Botanical Garden. My friend and fellow sisterMAG photographer, Cristopher Santos, made a really fun behind the scenes video from the cover shoot, and I love it! Even though I always cringe a little seeing myself on film :-| Read the issue online in German or English, or my favorite way to read the online only magazine, on my ipad with the sisterMAG app.
Cereal Magazine Volume 2
I was so excited to see that the Postman had delivered the new issue of Cereal Mag today, and I was lucky to be asked to photograph two stories inside the magazine. Cereal Magazine is a beautiful new print magazine from the UK focused on food and travel, which just so happen to be two of my favorite things as well. :) The new issue has a wonderful Berlin travel section including not only the stories I photographed featuring R.S.V.P. and the city’s most popular street food, currywurst, but also two beautifully written and photographed stories about the Jewish Museum and the Bauhaus Archives (both are places I still need to visit- maybe this weekend we can go check them out, it is certainly perfect museum weather!). I will definitely be spending the long weekend enjoying the new issue as I am hoping to take a much needed break away from my computer. Do you have any big plans for the Easter holiday? Usually we get away for the long weekend, but this year we will be lying low, catching up on sleep and trying to not slip and break any bones on the icy streets. Please tell me some of you are going somewhere warm!

sisterMAG issue 5
The Christmas issue of sisterMAG came out on Friday and I think it is their best issue to date! The issue’s theme is “Childhood Dreams” and reading all of the wintery stories really got me in the holiday spirit, helped by the fact that it definitely looks and feels like winter here in Germany now too. I was lucky to have been asked to shoot the issue’s festive cover and a feature (page 241) with my friend Brittany of The House That Lars Built in Copenhagen. Also check out our “Lover’s Guide Berlin” story (page 283). Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot with Brittany, and make sure to check out the entire issue in German and English.
Everplaces 2.0 Video
A few months ago, I was contacted by the lovely people at Everplaces to create a video to celebrate the launch of the new and improved, non-beta version of their iphone app. I have to admit I was incredibly flattered that they had even watched the videos I had made and posted here on the blog, and I was honored that they wanted to hire me to make a video for them, especially as I am a huge fan of their site and app. Those of you who are regular readers will surely recognize some familiar faces, and as my friends are big fans of Everplaces (4 are Everplaces Ambassadors) they were perfect for the video. I had a lot of fun making it, and I am so excited to finally share it with you. Lover’s Guide to Berlin | Reverie Magazine
When Thea and Toni told me they wanted me to photograph a story they were working on a shoot for Reverie Magazine, I might have done a little happy dance in my kitchen. The story is a lover’s guide to Berlin featured in the new fall issue of Reverie Magazine which launched yesterday and combines two of my favorite things: travel photography + engagement shoots. We shot the story with two fabulous couples here in Berlin and I have been so anxious to share the photos! sisterMAG issue 4
The newest issue of sisterMAG is now live in both English and German! I was lucky to have shot both the English and German covers as well as the coat fashion editorial and some new press images of the lovely sisters. I had such a great time working on both features and I made a little video with their spoken editorial featuring some behind the scenes footage as well. In Paris, Restos for Fashion’s Restless | The New York Times T Magazine
During my time in Paris I worked on several different projects, one of which was an article for The New York York Times T Magazine. My friend Lindsey and I worked together on the piece, she wrote the fantastic article and I was lucky to be asked to photograph it, and we had such a great time working together. The owners of coffee hot-spot Télescope, Nicolas and David, shared some of their favorite restaurants and cafés around Paris with us, just in time for fashion week. Check out the article here.

sisterMAG issue 3
The latest issue of sisterMAG was released today and I am thrilled to share the fashion story I shot (on page 166). Toni and Thea, the lovely sisters behind the sisterMAG, believe in creating a magazine that is relatable to all women and are therefore dedicated to having real women, rather than professional models, grace the pages of sisterMAG. Somehow they convinced me to model for a story in addition shooting for the issue, and while I am flattered they asked me, it is so weird to see SO many pictures of myself, and I am quite possibly the most awkward “model” ever! The latest issue is great, Thea and Toni are such inspiring women and their work never fails to amaze me. Check it out here in German and English
matchbook magazine issue 6
I know I have said this about every issue so far, but seriously Matchbook’s Issue 6 is the best yet. Every issue just keeps getting better and better!
