Claudia Schiffer in Vogue Germany

The new issue of Vogue Germany arrived in my mailbox this week, an issue dedicated to Claudia Schiffer with several different fashion spreads highlighting her photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and Ellen Von Unwerth (love love love). While the cover is a take on the famous Annie Vogue Cover with Demi Moore, it is the only traditional pregnancy photo in the mix. It is pretty amazing to see high fashion photos with a pregnant model and I am loving the concept! It takes a brave and confindent woman, and she looks pretty damn good don’t you agree?

Aren’t these Black Label shots gorgeous? They have been sitting on my desktop for weeks now, and I know they are not-so-new news, but I needed to share them because they are so lovely. The photography and colors are beautiful and these were my favorite. I LOVE her red hair and it looks amazing together with the colors of the hair accessories. Once upon a time my hair was that color too, but pretty sure it wasn’t my best look.
And is having an “April Showers Bring May Flowers” Sale with 30% off everything floral in their shop! yes please :)
Also their blog is great with hilarious videos that make me want to work there, looks like SOO much fun!

the satorialist

These photos from The Satorialist for Italian Vogue Pelle make me long for Cape Cod. We are meeting the family there in September but that feels SOOOOO far away! We have a little cottage there and it is by far one of my favorite places in the world and I cannot wait to show it to Andreas. Days at the beach, swimming in the lake, time in my “boat” (photos to come), long bicycle rides and eating heaps of fresh fish, lobster rolls (yummmm) and precious time with people i love.

I know these photos are in the Hamptons, but the vibe of the images is the same. and right now, i miss THE BEACH, period.

giorgia fiorio

we visited c|o berlin which is probably my favorite photography museums ever and saw two amazing exhibits. One was Roger Melis who lived and worked in east germany and showed beautiful portraits of everyday people around europe. the other was by Italian photographer, Giorgia Fiorio and it totally blew me away. She spent the last 9 years traveling the world documenting religious rituals and discovering the great powers of faith. Incredible subject matter and Amazing images.
